When most guys reach the motorized age, a motorcycle or a car fills the bill - Jerry bought his first boat! He would run the shoreline from Cleveland to the Bass Islands. He'd fish all day, run the shoreline home (with dinner in the cooler) and his mom had no clue where he'd been!

By the age of 18, the boat was docked at Channel Grove Marina, where the current Headhunter floats today. He's been fishing the reefs of the island area since then. Some swear he has x-ray vision and can "see" every crack and crevice on the reefs.

Jerry was one of the original licensed guides on Lake Erie. He understands the winds, currents, and habits of walleye and bass movements on a seasonal basis. He doesn't take a first mate along- he wants his clients to catch the fish. He gives lessons to the novice and nets the fish for everyone. He wants everybody to love the lake as much as he does. Whether you're a beginner or an "old salt" you'll enjoy the day fishing for the elusive walleye or bass.

Fishing is the ONLY thing Jerry does, so it's important to him that everyone has a great day. Trips can be tailored to your needs. (Put-in-Bay, Kelly's and Cedar Point are nearby for a day visit or an extended stay - for those who don't fish.) He runs only ONE trip a day and is out there until the job is done to his satisfaction --- There's always time for one more drift!!!
