Lake
Erie offers the best walleye and bass fishing on the planet and Jerry
is proud to be a part of it. Docked at Channel Grove Marina on the
Marblehead peninsula, it has easy access to the lake and the Bass
Islands area.
Jerry is
known as the "Rock Doctor" because he loves to fish the "skinny water"
in the reef areas. There are not many things better than pulling a
lunker out of 5' of water! The Headhunter does just that-Jerry is in
his element when he and his crew can work the shallow waters of the
reefs. A couple of fish here, a couple of fish there, and before you
know it---the day is done!
When
most boys reach 14, the first thing they want is a motorcycle. Jerry
saved his paper route money and bought his first boat- an 18' Lyman. He
would run the shoreline from Lakewood to the Islands, fish all day, run
the shoreline back, and his mother never knew where he was. This is
when his "addiction" began, and he's been at it since then.
Jerry
is the current "Most Wins" tournament guide on Lake Erie. He and his
all amateur team have won all the major casting tournaments at least
once, and the Captain's Invitational several times. Some guides say
they're the best, but the proof is in the poundage!
